That’s for the individual, there’s no one belief. All must believe in a supreme being, but one member may believe in Heaven, or a union with God, one with Karmic cycles and another reincarnation. The principles are about introspection. Our free will is the choice to freely decide which parts of ourselves to develop and which to change.
