Having served your Province for a number of years as a Provincial Officer, you may be invited to become a Grand Officer by the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE). You will then have further responsibilities and authority for various aspects of Freemasonry in and around the United Kingdom and possibly abroad.
Again, there are roles which are public facing, membership facing or ‘behind the scenes’, so there’s ample opportunity to serve Freemasonry universal no matter what your particular skill set.
